Bike touring

A group built to prepare and run the whole tour.

Each tool answers a practical question for the riders before departure, on the road or after the trip.

Tour profile

Region, bike type, target distance and maximum elevation per day, lodging preference, support vehicle and group constraints.

Proposed routes and votes

Anyone can share a route link and vote. The group keeps the source, distance, elevation and its own notes.

GPX, TCX and open routing

Import a GPX/TCX file or calculate a cycling route from OpenStreetMap data, then export it as GPX in the mobile app.

Roadbook

One stage per day with start, finish, times, distance, elevation and a group note. A forecast can appear when an exact route is available.

Riders and registration

Capacity, registration, an automatic waiting list, bike profiles, charging needs, dietary restrictions and emergency contacts.

Lodging and meals

Several addresses per night, rooms and spots, rider placement, planned meals and an honest headcount for the restaurant.

Luggage and carpools

Vehicles, bag capacity, stage shuttles, drivers, pickup and delivery, plus seats for riders and bikes.

Fees and expenses

Registration fees, part-payments, unassigned amounts, refunds to record, group expenses and a per-person estimate that identifies missing inputs.

Recap and PDF

Total distance and climbing, key stages, nights, meals, riders and recorded expenses, with a shareable PDF roadbook.

From idea to finish

The tour follows the order in which decisions are made.

1

Frame the trip

Set the dates, region, bike type, target pace and elevation limits.

2

Choose the routes

Riders propose links or GPX/TCX files and vote; the selected route is attached to each day.

3

Build the roadbook

Add the days, specify places and times, then calculate or import each route.

4

Open registration

Manage capacity, the waiting list, bike profiles and registration fees.

5

Set the logistics

Assign lodging and meals, arrange carpools, the support vehicle and luggage transfers.

6

Follow and keep the recap

Find today's stage, lodging and bag status, then share the roadbook and recap.

Clear limits

PartaBill coordinates the tour; it does not replace specialist services.

Does PartaBill book lodging?

No. It keeps addresses, capacities, costs, booking references and assigned places together. The booking is still made with the property.

Does PartaBill move money?

No. It tracks fees, amounts received, expenses and refunds. Actual payments happen between group members.

Is it built-in GPS navigation?

No. PartaBill stores, calculates or exports a route and opens available maps; turn-by-turn navigation stays in your GPS app.

Are routes and forecasts guaranteed?

No. They rely on external data and forecasts. Always check road conditions, closures, weather and availability before departure.

Bike touring is coming soon to PartaBill.

This page previews the planned features. Creating a Bike touring group is not yet available in the public app.
